Luftbild Anflug Marineschule Muerwik - Sie wurde im Jahr 1910 offiziell in Betrieb genommen | Die Marineschule Mürwik in Flensburg-Mürwik wurde im Jahr 1910 offiziell in Betrieb genommen und ist seitdem die zentrale Ausbildungsstätte für deutsche Marineoffiziere. Der Bau begann 1907, nachdem der Magistrat der Stadt Flensburg am 9. Mai 1905 ein 15 Hektar großes Gelände im fast unbesiedelten Mürwik kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt hatte, unter der Bedingung, dass die Schule bis zum 1. April 1909 dort verlegt werden würde.
